I have always had a weakness for rock candy,
and for some reason always remember it along side with the natural science museum of Houston (great place by the way). They have a gift shop stocked with every flavor/color of rock candy out there and space food/moon pies...mm so good! I guess this is where rock candy first rocked my world (ha I'm a nerd) who knows, the weird way our memories work!
But anyways, I love that rock candy can now be used in a more playful mature way..like in champagne! I think I am gonna do this for NYE with bright pink candy oh so cute!

I love rock candy!! Mostly because of its cool appearance...I remember trying to make it when I was younger by tying a string in a glass, but it never came out looking as good as the ones in the store. You've convinced me to have a stash on hand next time I serve champagne :)
