Wrap hair into a loop, almost like a you are going to a dance class. 

Place hands on head with you fingers in your hair near the bun and kinda pull your hands forward to slightly loosen your hair up. 

If you have long hair you can keep one piece out of the bun, and when you are done loop that piece around your hair tie, keeping it in with a bobby pin. This will give the bun a more romantic, fancier feel.
